The power of the Holy Spirit is the source of hope in our lives. It is the way to joy and the path to peace.

The Holy Spirit is not just about flaming tongues. It is not solely the God of big and dramatic moments; the Holy Spirit is the God of all moments. It prompts us through small ideas throughout the day, inclinations of what we ought to do, and awareness of the choices set before us.

The power of the Holy Spirit is the divine within us. And we engage with the power of God by making choices that align with the spirit of who he is.

Hope, joy, and peace do not come through circumstances. They come through the power of God. It is not that the Holy Spirit leads us to better circumstances; it is that the Holy Spirit teaches us how to perceive our circumstances. For therein, we find peace, joy, and hope.

Not only for ourselves but as a testimony for others to see. When we “overflow with hope”, it spills onto others. It affects the world around us.

If we want to transform our lives, we do not need transformed circumstances; we need a transformed perspective and to make the choice to trust a God who wields His power in all the terrains of life.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
– Romans 15:13
