When Scripture talks about wealth, prosperity, and success, it is defining those things by a different standard than the world. Riches are spiritual not superficial. Success is not about what you possess but how you steward.

As we navigate the challenges of defining success differently than the world does, the Lord promises us the vast richness of His presence. He promises to be with us. To interact with us. To engage in relationship with us.

Life is full of challenges, trials, and complicated scenarios. God’s guidance is simple: “trust in me”.

Faithfulness is about staying consistently committed to Christ in the midst of a carousel of circumstances. It is about tethering our souls to the eternal truth of God’s goodness rather than revolving, temporary, and superficial circumstances.

When we do this, remaining faithful to God, we find the true riches of Christ’s Kingdom, which happen to be the things for which we were created and therefore the things we want most. Peace. Joy. Perspective. Intimacy. These are the richest blessings available to us and they are available this very day.

Whom will you serve? To whom will you remain faithful? The answer will determine how richly you experience this short but meaningful life.

“A faithful person will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished.” – Proverbs 28:20
