Time is a tricky reality in this world. It makes seasons temporal and circumstances ever-changing. It requires us to move and evolve, pivot and adapt.
Although we might view this as an unfortunate reality, it is actually an incredible opportunity. It gives us the chance to acknowledge God in diverse ways. To see him through a variety of circumstances and experiences.
The presence of God is as constant as the reality of change. He is the eternal presence throughout every manifestation of our temporal experience. Said another way, he is always here. Always available. Through the highs and lows, the twists and turns, the celebrations and the lamentations, God is the God of all.
It is hard for us to fathom the eternal presence of God. He is always here, around every corner, in every circumstance, through all times and seasons. God is beckoning us to his Kingdom, inviting us to acknowledge him.
Today is a day of temporal challenges and successes. Our day might include sadness or joy, a great win or a debilitating loss. The Lord is the Lord of all. He is here. No matter what is happening today, God’s presence is the ultimate reality, the guiding truth. And he wants nothing more than for us to acknowledge him at this time, in this place, in these circumstances. By doing so, we participate in the eternal truth of God.
