Public Reading of Scripture believes listening to Scripture is a timeless practice—people from Moses to Jesus built it into their lives. It invites us to pause, tune out distractions, and humbly hear God’s voice. This is an easy, accessible way for anyone to get into Scripture. All you have to do is listen. Hearing the Bible read aloud offers a different perspective than reading the Bible silently in text. Listening to the words allows us to slow down and absorb the content more deeply.
